Three months of the six-month term was suspended and Adkins was ordered to report to authorities Nov. 3.

McCown also ordered Adkins to pay restitution and court costs and ordered one year non-reporting probation. Adkins was one of three men arrested June 13 by Proctorville police who responded to a burglary call at the State Route 7 eatery.

The two other men, Todd Drown, 20, 63 Private Drive 3418, Chesapeake,

and Larry McDonald, 46, 402 Rockwood Ave., Chesapeake, each pleaded guilty last month to misdemeanor charges in connection with the incident.

A South Point man arrested in August on drug charges was also sentenced Wednesday in Common Pleas Court.

Connell Jessie, 25, 108 Solida Road, pleaded guilty to two counts of fourth- degree felony trafficking in crack cocaine and one count of third-degree felony trafficking in crack cocaine.

McCown ordered Jessie to successfully complete a drug and/or alcohol abuse treatment program and ordered him to serve four years community controlled sanctions under intensive supervised probation on each charge, to run concurrently.

If he violates the terms of his sanctions he could be sent to prison for as long as two years on the third-degree felony and up to 17 months on each of the fourth-degree felonies.

Jessie was also ordered to pay $10,000 in fines. A man arrested with Connell Jessie, Keith Jessie, 28, 153 Township Road 268, South Point, pleaded guilty last week in Common Pleas Court.

Charges were nullified last week against a third person, Tammy Woodberry, 38, 108 Solida Road, South Point.
