SOUTH POINT - Thank goodness there was a second half.

After clinging to a 3-point halftime lead against winless Rock Hill, the South Point Lady Pointers turned in a strong second half as they beat the Redwomen 62-43 Thursday in an Ohio Valley Conference game.

"The first half we played about as bad as we can play. The second half we changed the lineup up around and started to pull away," Lady Pointers coach Dave Adams said.
