CHESHIRE - It was a good start and a good finish for the Chesapeake Lady Panthers.

Playing well at the start and finish of their game Thursday, the Lady Panthers beat the River Valley Lady Raiders 56-46 in an Ohio Valley Conference game.

"We had a good first quarter and a good fourth quarter, but we fell asleep in the second and third quarters," Lady Panthers coach John McClung said. "When we guarded them, we were fine. I thought (Alysson) Baise did a good job of hustling and we made some good plays."
