Herd, Hokies change date

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University at Virginia Tech football game originally scheduled for September has been moved to Saturday, Oct. 8th, Virginia Tech and the Atlantic Coast Conference announced.

The new date will give construction workers additional time to complete work on the west side of Lane Stadium which is schedule to be completed by late summer.
