The offense was in high gear.

The St. Joseph Female Flyers generated their highest offensive output of the season as they blitzed the New Boston Lady Tigers 65-51 Monday.

Four players reached double figures for the first time this season as St. Joseph improved to 8-9.

Christina Harvey had 19 points to lead the quartet. Raven Blake scored 15, Danielle Blair 13 and Lindsay Dressel scored 11.

"We played well. That's as well as we've played offensively all season," Female Flyers coach B.J. Hannon said.

Abby Marshall had 17 points and Jessica Waugh 12 to pace New Boston (4-13).

After Dressel hit a shot to put the Female Flyers up 4-2, New Boston went on an 8-0 run for a 13-6 lead.

The Female Flyers battled back and a basket by Harvey with 7:17 left in the half gave them a 19-18 lead they never relinquished.

Blake scored and Harvey hit a shot with two seconds on the clock and it was 33-22 at the break.

Waugh started the second half with a 3-pointer, but baskets by Blair and Dressel had the Female Flyers up 39-29 at the 5:07 mark.

The lead was just 39-31 when Harvey converted a 3-point play and the Female Flyers were up 52-37 after three quarter.

Waugh hit another 3-pointer to make it 56-46, but Dressel's foul shot and two free throws by Blake with 1:45 to play boosted the lead to 62-46.

Sarah Webb sank 3 of 4 foul shots over the final 40 seconds to seal the St. Joseph win.

St. Joseph hosts Fairview, Ky., at 6 p.m. Thursday.
