"The Appalachian Uprising was created as a way to bring positive energy to a very depressed area in Appalachian Ohio," Delong said. "Drawing from music that originated in these hills, Earth Productions has managed to start a buzz of positive energy that we can hope will continue to grow with all of your help!"

The Uprising is slated for June 2-4 at Eden Valley Farm in Scottown. Last year, the three-day event drew an estimated crowd of 1,500 bluegrass music enthusiasts who came from throughout the country to partake of the entertainment.
