CHESAPEAKE - Kirsten Harris didn't get a no-hitter this time, but he was close.

Harris pitched a no-hitter against the St. Joseph Flyers last season. He didn't duplicate the feat Thursday, but he did throw a one-hitter as the Chesapeake Panthers posted a 12-2 win in five innings.

Harris struck out three and did not walk a batter in three innings. Jeff Gilkison finished up and fanned five.
