Meigs County Common Pleas Judge Fred Crow has scheduled an initial pretrial and schedule conference for this morning in the lawsuit to remove three Rock Hill school board members.
Crow was appointed last month to hear the case after Lawrence County Common Pleas Judge Richard Walton stepped aside because of
a scheduling conflict.
The conference was set to begin at 9 a.m. at the Lawrence County Courthouse.
The group Citizens Against Poor Spending (CAPS) is seeking to remove Lavetta Sites, Wanda Jenkins and Paul R. Johnson from the school board.
CAPS members contend the three board members are guilty of various misdeeds in office and filed the lawsuit to remove them in late March.
