Today, Angela Shoemaker is happy and healthy thanks to gastric bypass surgery. Not only has she lost much weight but she has also been able to resume a more active lifestyle. She is convinced that it saved her life. "By the size of (the tumor), it had been growing for two years, and it eventually would have killed me."
