Ironton Middle School sixth-grader Stephanie Elswick receives a big hug from The Macker Man Wednesday morning following a sportsmanship assembly at the school. Staffers with Gus Macker Basketball, along with members of the Friends of Ironton, promoted the importance of good sportsmanship at Ironton Middle School and Fairland West Elementary School. The upcoming Gus Macker basketball tournament is a 3-on-3 basketball tournament that will be May 21 and 22 in downtown Ironton.
