The Ladies

9-Hole Golf Association of the Ironton Country Club now meets at 9 a.m. each Tuesday.

Hostess this past week was Lynn Rapp.

A brief business meeting was conducted by Midge Payne and Nancy Livingston. An invitation to the Fairgreens Country Club in Jackson for a tournament to be played on Aug. 3 was received. Weekly ringer tournament play continues as posted.

Golfing events for the day were won by Georgia Willis, Nancy Livingston, Johnna Jones and Lynn Rapp.

Following the golf event, flowers were planted by Pat Riggs and Nancy Livingston. A special thanks to Tom and Margaret Donley for donating flowers from their greenhouse.

Betty Fraley will serve as hostess for the next meeting. New members are always welcome. Play will begin at 9:30 a.m. following the meeting.
