Now is perfect time for relationship with God

Heb. 10:23-25 said, "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.

"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."

We are living in a day and hour where it is so easy for us to lose sight of our priorities in life.

Something has happened to our relationship with God. No we didn't plan or direct it, but nonetheless we have lost or are losing ground. We wonder why we feel the way we feel.

Feeling a void, empty, that something is missing and no matter how hard we try to find it, we still seem to come up with nothing. We buy new homes, automobiles, clothing. We try everything to satisfy the longing and hunger that is in us. Still nothing.

I do think it is time that we dig a little deeper, look a little closer. Yes, set some time aside to evaluate our life. No, there is nothing wrong with new homes, cars and such things.

There is a hazard to searching for satisfaction in the wrong direction or in the wrong places.

These are good if they are put in the right place in our life.

It is a terrible sight to see someone who once had such a powerful relationship with the Lord lose it to the cares of this world. What will a man give in exchange for his soul?

The car will need repairs and soon will need replaced, same with the house and the clothing. These will come and go, but there is one that will never leave you nor forsake you.

Isn't it about time that we re-establish our relationship with God?

We didn't plan to lose sight of Calvary but it just slipped in one day at a time and, before we knew it, we lost our desire for the house of God.

I must tell you there is nothing like the time I spend in the house of God. The power, the peace, the joy, what a filling station we have in the presence or the Lord.

There is nothing like the presence of God as he moves from the top of my head to the toes of my feet.

Remembering what we once had will do nothing to satisfy you today. Yes, it might bring back some precious memories of times past but will it satisfy that longing we have today? We need to be faithful to the house of God.

For it is there that we can gain our ground back. It's time we take back our land that was purchased with the precious blood of the lamb. I want my peace back. I want my joy back.

I want my family back. I want my life back. I want my relationship back with the Lord. It's going to take some work on your part.

It's going to take dedication, faithfulness. We are going to need to lose our pride and hold fast to the profession of our faith without wavering.

For those who are seeking, for those who are hurting, for those who are hungry we give you this invitation as the Lord is drawing upon your hearts to come join us in service.
