GALLIPOLIS - It was a good trip.

The South Point Pointers went on the road Monday and came away with a tri-match win over River Valley and Wahama, W.Va., at Cliffside Country Club.

South Point had a 175 team score while Wahama shot a 178 total and River Valley had a 187 score.

Joshua Jones carded a 42 to lead the Pointers. Zach Norris and Kyle Hughes each shot a 44 and Kevin Davis and Justin Lewis had rounds of 45. Tommy Walker shot a 47 to round out the Pointers scoring.

Craig Jagers of River Valley was medalist with a 38. Justin Arnold shot a 42 to lead Wahama.
