The Coal Grove Junior Hornets defeated South Point in what resembled a track meet more than a football game.

With South Point racking up 348 total yards and Coal Grove gaining 405 yards, there was a feeling that the team that scored last would win the game.

South Point went up 6-0, but the Hornets came back to lead 8-6 on a 4-yard scoring run by Frank Delawder. Wayne Sparks added the two-point conversion.
