BURLINGTON - A man will appear in Lawrence County Municipal Court today to answer charges in connection with an incident late last week in Burlington.

Jason Belcher, 18, whose address is not listed on Lawrence County Sheriff's Office records, was arrested Thursday evening after people in the vicinity of Second and Davidson streets alerted authorities to gun shots that were allegedly fired in that area.

Belcher was discovered hiding in a pile of clothes in a nearby residence. When he was taken into custody, authorities allegedly found powder cocaine and crack cocaine in his possession.
