Many people are quick to ask, "Who are the Good Twins?"

The name Good Twins is more than just a name or a title, it is a description of the music lovingly created by the singing duo.

The Good Twins will be presenting their ministry at 7 p.m. Wednesday, at Central Christian Church, 1541 S. Seventh St., Ironton. The community is invited to come and share in this special service. A freewill offering will be received.

The Good Twins, who started singing together at age 3, have been singing and recording gospel music for more than 40 years.

They are known nationally, as well as internationally.

They have traveled nearly 3 million miles, performed more than 8,000 concerts and revivals in 24 different countries. They have memorized more than 500 gospel songs, appeared before kings, governors, at political rallies, Miss America pageants, state and country fairs, prisons, conventions, four national TV specials and in thousands of different churches.

The musicians have released 33 albums. In 1961, the Good Twins made musical history as they became the first to sing with prerecorded background tapes. Their novel method is now being used by all major singing artists.
