The Ironton Recreation Department will host an NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass & Kick competition on Wednesday at Ironton's Tank Memorial Stadium. Registration begins at 4:45 pm with the first age groups competing at 5 p.m.

The competition is open to boys and girls between the ages of 8 to 15 as of Dec. 31. Ages must be verified with a birth certificate copy. Boys and girls will compete separately in the following age groups: 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15.

All competitors must wear soft-soled gym shoes. Cleats or turf shoes are not permitted. A parent or guardian must complete an entry form and release of liability before competing. This form will be available during registration or can be found online at www.ppk-nflyouthfootball.com.

The 8-9 and 10-11 age groups (boys and girls) will begin at 5 p.m. while the 12-13 and 14-15 age groups begin at approximately 5:45.

The winner of all age groups will advance to a sectional competition to be held in Piketon next Sunday.
