Ohio knocks off Buffalo

AMHERST, N.Y. (AP) - Kalvin McRae rushed for 224 yards and two touchdowns to lead Ohio to a 34-20 victory over Buffalo on Saturday.
McRae topped the 200-yard mark for the second week in a row and the third time this season. He scored on runs of 3 and 34 yards.
Austen Everson completed 8-of-14 passes for 105 yards and two touchdowns as the Bobcats (4-4, 3-2 Mid-American Conference) rolled up 474 yards.
Buffalo (0-8, 0-5), which lost its ninth game in a row, rallied from a 20-0 deficit to draw to 27-20 on Steven King's 4-yard touchdown run with 12:01 remaining.
After forcing an Ohio punt, Buffalo took over but King fumbled and the Bobcats recovered at the Bulls' 28. Four plays later, Everson hit Dion Byrum on a 14-yard scoring pass at the 9:12 mark to end the scoring.
Bulls quarterback Drew Willy completed 24-of-36 passes for 293 yards with one interception, connecting with Evan Wallace for a 36-yard touchdown. King rushed for 70 yards on 18 carries and scored twice.
Ohio scored on its first two possessions, Everson completing a 39-yard pass to Scott Mayle and McRae capping a 61-yard drive by covering the final three yards. The Bobcats went up 20-0 on Justin Fitzgerald's 19-yard reception from Brandon Jones.
