The St. Joseph Junior Flyers got back on the winning track with a 40-27 win over the Wurtland (Ky.) Warriors Wednesday.

Joe “The Shoe” Unger and Payton “Place” Blair each scored 13 points to lead the Flyers (4-1).

Junior Lady Dragons 8th grade wins 3rd

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — The Fairland Junior Lady Dragons 8th grade notched its third win of the season by breezing past Beverly Hills Middle School 32-13 Wednesday.

Shelby Fuller had 11 points for Fairland (3-1) while Jordan Fulks added seven points and 13 rebounds.

Beverly Hills snapped a 10-10 halftime tie to win the 7th grade game 26-20. Erin Ward scored 12 points for the Lady Dragons.

SV Junior Vikings win pair or SOC games

WILLOW WOOD — The Symmes Valley Junior Vikings took a pair of Southern Ohio Conference games over the Portsmouth East Junior Tartans.

The Vikings 7th grade won 51-7 as Luke Taylor had 16 points and Brad Lemaster 11.

Kyle Bowen scored 25 points as the Vikings 8th grade cruised to a 61-0 win. Kris Tibbs added 10 points and Cody Thompson nine.
