CHESAPEAKE - After Wednesday, Cody Methax won’t mind being called a big zero.

Methax allowed zero hits as he pitched a no-hitter to lead the Chesapeake Panthers to a 3-0 Ohio Valley Conference win over the South Point Pointers.

“Cody pitched a good ball game. The first time we played South Point, he pitched well but we didn’t back him up. We made the plays today,” Panthers coach Joe Waugh said.
