Persin seeks 500th victory

CHESAPEAKE — A major milestone awaits Norm Persin.
The Chesapeake Panthers head basketball coach is siting on 499 career wins as he takes his team to River Valley tonight for an Ohio Valley Conference game.
The Panthers will be after their eighth win of the season without a loss.
A win would also give Persin 500 career victories.
Persin is a former AP coach of the year and was a Paul A. Walker recipient.
