HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Frequent travelers at Tri-State Airport may notice some changes to its daily flight schedule to Cincinnati.

Comair/Delta Air Lines has changed its daily flights to include an early morning departure to Cincinnati and a later returning flight back into Huntington.

Beginning June 8, Comair/Delta services to Cincinnati will leave Tri-State at 6:40 a.m. and 12:25 p.m. Flights will return to the airport at 11:31 a.m. and 7:36 p.m.

The airlines made the schedule changes in response to requests from frequent business travelers.

Officials at the airport are happy about the announcement.

“We are pleased that Delta has given us arrival and departure times that are optimal for our business travelers,” airport Marketing Director Becki McKinley said in a press release.
