FRANKLIN FURNACE — So, you liked the Gus Macker tournament? Well, here’s an encore event.

For the second straight year, the Green Bobcats football boosters will host a 3-on-3 basketball tournament July 15-16 at the high school.

“This is a really fun event. It gives people a chance to play some street basketball and help the football program at the same time,” Green football coach Kevin Sheridan said.

The tournament is open to boys and girls ages 10 and older. Age divisions are 10-12, 13-15, 16-18 and 19-and older. Awards will be given to the first and second place teams.

Pre-registration will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday, July 7, and 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 8, at the front of the high school gym. Applications and release forms can be mailed to:
