Robber holds up gas station
CHESAPEAKE — Local authorities are looking for a bandit who got away allegedly after holding up the Rich Oil on Third Avenue in Chesapeake late Sunday night.
“A man entered the store and ended up getting an undetermined amount of cash,” Lawrence County Sheriff’s detective Aaron Bollinger said.
“He exited the store on foot and no vehicle was seen,” he said.
The suspect is described as being 6 feet tall, probably with a medium build hidden by a baggy dark T-shirt and baggy pair of blue jeans.
Bollinger said the suspect was fully masked but did not show a gun.
The incident occurred at approximately 10 p.m. No one was injured in the incident.
