PINE GROVE — Call them the Medalist Men.

Seth Christian and Nathan Kerns each fired a 37 to share medalist honors at a golf match Thursday at the Ironton Country Club.

Greenup County, Ky., shot a 161 t win the match. Elliott County, Ky., had 171 and Ironton a 179. River Valley had only three golfers and did not register a team score.

Michael Filkins had a 50 for Ironton, Aaron Christian 55, Tanner Reed 5 and Brad Roberts a 66.

Ironton plays Greenup County at Riverbend on Monday.
