Playoff fever is starting to heat up.

The Ironton Fighting Tigers added some valuable points to their total last week and can add a lot more this week as they host Gallipolis.

Ironton (4-2) moved up to No. 7 this week in Region 15 of Division IV with four weeks remaining.

The top eight teams in each region of the six divisions qualify for the playoffs.

Bellaire leads the region followed by Westfall, New Lexington, Martins Ferry, St. Clairsville and Wellston. Columbus Eastmoor is eighth.

Rock Hill is No. 11 in the region.
