RIO GRANDE — Having a healthy Candace Ferguson has been good for the health of the University of Rio Grande Redwomen.

Coming off a injury that sidelined her as a junior, the 6-foot senior center has been making up for lost time.

Ferguson gave a strong performance in the annual Bevo Francis Classic and earned all-tournament honors.
