The position didn’t matter. Andy Colegrove would harrass quarterbacks as a defensive end and punished runners as a linebacker.

Colegrove’s versatile defensive abilities earned him the Associated Press Southeast District Division IV Defensive Player of the Year announced Wednesday.

Colegrove was joined on the Div. IV first team by teammates John Pemberton, Dominic Murphy and Chad Miller. T.J. Keith and Bruce Roach were voted to the second team and Josh Dyer was honorable mention.
