Balanced offense leads St. Joseph by Harvest Christian

The St. Joseph Female Flyers believe in equality.

The Female Flyers had 8 of 10 players score Monday as they routed Harvest Christian 62-27.

Katie Schwab scored 11 points and Lindsay Dressel and Kacie Rucker 10 each to lead the balanced St. Joseph offense.

“We had good balance. We had three in double figures and two or three others who were close. The girls played really well,” Female Flyers coach B.J. Hannon said.

Danielle Blair and Schwab scored 5 points each in the first quarter as St. Joseph jumped in front 20-2 and never looked back.

Rucker and Dressel combined for 9 points in the second quarter and the lead was 31-12 at the break.

Schwab, Blair and Rucker scored 10 points between them and the lead grew to 48-20 after three quarters.

Cat Redden came off the bench to score 8 points in the fourth quarter for the Female Flyers (4-9).

Elizabeth Esposito led Harvest Christian with 15 points, 9 coming in the second half.

St. Joseph travels to Rock Hill Monday.
