WESTWOOD, Ky. — In rivalries you throw the records out the window. Well, the same can be said for the Coal Grove Hornets in every game.

Despite no wins this season, the Hornets have given an all-out effort each game including Saturday’s 74-62 loss at the hands of the Fairview Eagles.

“Fairview is one of the better teams we’ve played this year. We gave up 22 points in the first quarter and then played them pretty even the rest of way. The kids are still battling and showing a desire to win a game,” Waller said.

The Eagles used 6 points each by Barber, Hall and Collins to jump in front 22-11 at the end of the first quarter.
