CROWN CITY — The Coal Grove Lady Hornets took a page from football by opening up a triple option offense.

The Lady Hornets have been led all year by the scoring tandem of Chelsea Markins and Samantha Hall. Jordyn Cox made it a trio Monday as she scored 19 points in Coal Grove’s 61-35 win over the South Gallia Lady Rebels.

“Jordyn had a real nice game. She shot the ball well,” Lady Hornets coach Nick Miller said.
