CHESHIRE — Andrew Stumbo finished what he started.

After scoring the first 8 points of the game, Stumbo scored the final two as the Rock Hill Redmen handed the South Gallia Rebels their first loss of the season Tuesday, 69-68 in double overtime.

“The key for us was our kids determination and character. They never gave up. Even when South Gallia tied it up, our kids said ‘We’re going to win.’ And they did,” Rock Hill coach Adam Simpson said.
