Boyd County (Ky.) High School has more boys in its soccer program than St. Joseph has in its high school.

The mismatch in numbers didn’t phase the Flyers as the two teams battled to a 2-2 tie Thursday.

Chad Harvey and Payton Blair scored one goal each as the Flyers went to 1-0-1 on the season.

Both teams had several scoring opportunities, but strong goal tending and back line defense kept both teams in check.
