The two teams have never met and have no common opponents this season. St. Clairsville did beat Wheelersburg 21-7 in week five of the season.

Rock Hill finished with a 13.0500 average. Amanda Clearcreek was ninth with a 12.2000 average and Ironton was 10th with a 12.1500 average.

All Division IV playoff games are at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

Here are the Region 15 pairings:

No.8 Rock Hill (7-3) at No.1 St. Clairsville (10-0); No.5 Portsmouth (8-2) at No.4 Licking Heights (9-1); No.7 New Lexington (8-2) at No.2 Westfall (10-0); No.6 Belmont Union Local (9-1) at No.3 Waverly (9-1).

Winners from the quarterfinals will meet on Saturday, Nov. 10, at a neutral site.

Four of the teams considered as the favorites in Division IV are in the same region. Youngstown Cardinal Mooney, Steubenville, Canton Catholic, and Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary’s are all in Region 13.

Considering the geographical pairings for the state semifinals, the winner of Region 15 would probably face the Region 13 champion, thus only having to beat one of the four to advance to the state finals.

The Division V playoffs are at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wheelersburg (7-3) opens the playoffs at home against West Lafayette Ridgewood (9-1) while Minford (8-2) plays at Johnstown-Monroe (8-2).
