Hot-shooting Tomcats top RH

ASHLAND, Ky. — There’s something about the Rock Hill Redmen that make the Ashland Tomcats prolific shooters.

Last season, Ashland shot 60 percent in beating the Redmen. On Friday night the Tomcats hit 53 percent from the field en route to a 70-42 win over the Redmen.

“When they start hitting shots, you think you’re not guarding them. I went back and watched the film and our halfcourt defense was where it was supposed to be, they just knocked the shots down. We hand a hand in their face,” said Redmen coach Adam Simpson
