Lady Panthers cruise past Lady Defenders, 55-31

GALLIPOLIS — It was all Chesapeake.
The Chesapeake Lady Panthers led the entire game as they rolled past the Ohio Valley Christian Lady Defenders 55-31 Monday.
Kimmie Bennett scored 15 points to lead three players in double figures for the Lady Panthers.
Rachel Harris scored 10 points including a pair of 3-pointers and Courtney Heffner also had 10 points for the Lady Panthers (5-3).
Lindsey Miller scored 13 points and Richelle Blankenship 11 points to pace OVC (1-8).
Chesapeake took a 14-9 lead at the end of the first quarter and stretched the cushion to 30-16 at the half.
The defense held the Defenders to four points in the third quarter and it was 42-20.
Chesapeake held its biggest lead at 55-27 with 1:32 to play.
