I am a property owner in Lawrence County. Over the years my taxes have doubled with the new school levy in South Point.

Now I am faced with two new levies that would increase my taxes again. With the cost of living increasing, gas has doubled, utilities have doubled and so on, I am voting “NO!”

I don’t think it is fair to property owners. To be fair, add a sales tax so everyone can pitch in.

A lot of people rent so this would not cause an increase for them. I cannot afford any new tax increases at this time.

I hope all property owners think before they vote. Vote no!

I live on a limited income and scrap to get by. I, like many people in Lawrence County, cannot afford it at this time.

So please, vote no!
