Mr. and Mrs. Larry Sellards, of South Point, announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy M. Sellards, of South Point, to Allen Halleck, of South Point, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Halleck, also of South Point.

The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Ohio University and received her master’s degree from Marshall University in 2006. She is a science teacher at Dawson-Bryant High School.

The groom-elect is a 2002 graduate of Ohio University and is employed at Ashland Inc., in Russell, Ky.

The wedding will be May 31 at South Point Church of Christ. A reception will follow at Knights of Columbus in Ironton.
