Colin, Dennis, Tara, Becky and Brett announce the 50th anniversary of their parents, Joe and Juanita Dillon, of Kitts Hill.

Mr. and Mrs. Dillon were married March 5, 1958 at the home of the Rev. Charles and Garnet Jayne. The Rev. Jayne officiated the ceremony.

Mrs. Dillon is the daughter of the late Carl and Clara Gannon. She is a graduate of Ironton High School, a former employee of Wilson Sporting Goods. She was a homemaker, raising five children and baking special wedding and birthday cakes.

Mr. Dillon is the son of the late Edward and Stella Dillon. He is a graduate of Rock Hill High School; he served in the U.S. Air Force at Mill Valley, Calif. He retired after 44 years of service from the CSX car shops in Raceland, Ky. He served many years as a Rock Hill Little League coach.

They are the parents of five children and their spouses, Colin and Crystal Dillon of Kitts Hill, Dennis and Trace Dillon of Lexington, Ky., Tara and Les Boggs of Coal Grove, Becky and Kevin Estep of Kitts Hill and Brett Dillon of Kitts Hill and his fianc/, Heather Wilson, of Ironton.

Mr. and Mrs. Dillon are the proud grandparents of five grandchildren, Holly Marie Estep, Natalie Paige Boggs, Lacey Faye Estep, Madison Katherine Boggs and Christopher David Riley.

A surprise anniversary will be given in their honor 6-8 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at Freedom Baptist Church on Oak Ridge Road in Kitts Hill. All relatives, friends old and new, co-workers and former Rock Hill Little League team members are invited to share this special day. It is asked that gifts be omitted but special memories and photographs are welcome.
