There is a buzz in the air around Ironton and Lawrence County. We have a great mayor and city council, volunteer groups and organizations, all which are proactively moving forward for the betterment of our community. It is exciting to hear of the ideas and possibilities of growth for our town.

This positive thinking needs to flow outside our city limits. In the upcoming election, Lawrence County has an opportunity to choose a candidate for County Commissioner. The best choice for our county is Tyler Walters. I have known Tyler for more than twenty years.

His family values and enthusiasm for bettering our community is the type of character traits we need to represent our county. His education and professional experience will bring fiscal responsibility in operating our county’s budget.
