Ironton in Bloom, Inc. supports the mayor and city council in their effort to make our city beautiful and instill community pride.

Being an organization that has dedicated itself to making our downtown area as inviting and attractive as possible, we commend Mayor Blankenship for upholding any and all ordinances that will improve the appearance of our streets and sidewalks.

I join the Board of Directors in the belief that neat and tidy storefronts are an important component of this effort. We suggest that clean, uncluttered streets will serve to attract most customers and businesses, not drive them away.
