I

think the people of Ironton

need to get behind the Mayor in his decision to start enforcing the laws that are already on the books. If you would just take the time to ride the streets in town and see the vast number of businesses and residents that need to be cleaned

and fixed up.

My husband, Jim, and I got back into town on the sixteenth of March and the first thing we saw coming in Park Avenue was the constant rummage sale at 3rd and Park.

I said to Jim, that I couldn’t believe the Mayor was continuing to allow that tacky sight to remain on the city street creating such an eyesore.

Only to read in the paper the next day that he had addressed the issue, and the people involved took such a negative attitude concerning his actions.

As badly as Ironton needs jobs and new business, I’m sure running a business out of town was the last thing on the mayor’s mind.

So come on, Ironton people give him a call, drop in and shake his hand or send a thank you to be printed in The Ironton Tribune.

Lets not let him think everyone disagrees with this decision. I, for one, Mr Mayor, support you and hope you continue to make unpopular decisions that will get Ironton back looking like the lovely town it used to be.

Much success to you.
