Ison-Higgins

Kenna Renee Ison and John Matthew Higgins, both of Ironton, were united in marriage March 15 at Christian Faith Outreach.

The Rev. Gene Easterling officiated the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Ken and Peggy Ison of Ironton.

She was given in marriage by her father.

The groom is the son of Bill and Sue Higgins of Flatwoods, Ky.

Music was provided by Mary Jane Keaton and Jeremy Oney.

Kathy Jenkins served the bride as maid of honor; Laikken Moore served as bridesmaid. Shaileigh Stewart was flower girl.

Mike Webb served the groom as best man. Ushers were Ricky Jenkins Jr. and Brian Cooper. The ring bearer was Corey Gillum and miniature groomsman was Tanner Easterling.

A reception followed at First Baptist Church Life Center in Raceland, Ky. Odessia Kline and family served as assistants at the reception.

After a wedding trip to Amelia Island, Fla., the couple will reside in Ironton. The couple sends their deepest appreciation for all of the gifts and other expressions of support from family and friends for sharing this special day.
