Claude Reed of Greenup, Ky., and Kathy Reed of Flatwoods, Ky., announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Reed, of Greenup, to Ryan Johnson, of Ironton, son of Jerry Johnson of Flatwoods and Denise Johnson of Ironton.

The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Greenup County High School and is employed in the dentistry office of Dr Jerry Mayer in Ironton.

The groom-elect is a 2001 graduate of Ironton High School and is employed at Liebert Copr.

The wedding will take place at 6:30 p.m. June 21 at the McConnell House in Wurtland, Ky. A reception will follow at the same location. The wedding and reception are open to family and friends.
