The Ironton Lady Tigers softball team would like to thank the community for their donations to the Strike Out Cancer benefit.

The following individuals gave donations in memory of a family member:

Jeff Fields in memory of his mother, Jo Ann Fields, Michael Patterson in memory of his father, George Patterson, Wayne Pennington in memory of Mary Pennington, and the family of Iris Mae Lambert in her memory.

Susan Sheridan, Sharon Hager and Les Boggs made donations to the team as well.

The team would also like to thank the people who bought the Strike Out Cancer shirts and bought the raffle tickets for the benefit.

A big thank you goes to Bob Linn Sporting Goods and Gary Fain for donating items to be raffled for the benefit.

As a team and community the Lady Tigers donated $11,368.85 to the American Cancer Society to be used locally to help research and fight breast cancer.
