ELIZABETH TOWNSHIP — A commercial truck driver was injured Friday afternoon when his rig overturned on State Route 93.

According to information from the Ohio State Highway Patrol Lawrence County Post, Timothy Johnson, of Jackson, was taken to Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Ky. Information on his condition was not immediately available. Johnson was cited for having an overweight load.

The accident occurred just before 1:30 p.m. near milepost 4. The accident remains under investigation.
