Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey L. Huff of Kitts Hill announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Bethanie Rachelle Huff to Seth Adam Corn, son of Kimberly and Mike Carrico of Scottown and Rick Corn of Willow Wood.

The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Symmes Valley High School. She is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education at Rio Grande, where she has remained on the dean’s honor list.

She is employed at Dickess Market in Aid. She is the granddaughter of John and Faye Huff, of Ironton, Herman and Mary Lou Hunt, of Kitts Hill, and Gary and Vickie Simpson of Kitts Hill. She is the great granddaughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Lambert and the late Mary Ridgeway.

The groom-elect is a 2001 graduate of Symmes Valley High School and is also a graduate of Ohio University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in health administration. He is employed in the learning and organizational development department at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He is the grandson of James and Anna Myers, of Scottown, the late Andrew and Eileen Corn, of Willow Wood and Ralph and Phyllis Carrico, of Ironton. He is also the great grandson of Helen Carrico of Willow Wood and the late Clyde Carrico.

The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m. Aug. 9 at Perkins Ridge Baptist Church. A reception will follow at Ohio University Southern Proctorville Center.
