Teens indicted for vandalizing country club

Two area men who were arrested in connection with vandalism at the Ironton Country Club have been indicted by a Lawrence County grand jury.

Nicholas M. Fuentes, 18, of 260 B Junior Road, Ironton, and Lee R. Keith, 19, of Franklin Furnace, were each indicted on two counts of vandalism and two counts of criminal trespass.

The two men were arrested in June after caretakers of the country club noticed damage to the golf course and notified the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

The grand jury met Thursday and Friday. According to information from the office of Lawrence County Prosecutor J.B. Collier Jr., others indicted were:

— Kenneth R. Smith, 43, of 96 Private Drive 8700, Proctorville, three counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs and one count each of aggravated possession of drugs, possession of criminal tools and having a weapon under a disability.

— Rodney S. Miller Jr., 23, Lawrence County Jail, failure to provide notification of change of address.

— Shawn S. Haney, 24, 71 Private Drive 69, South Point, one count each of robbery and attempt to commit robbery.

— Ted E. Arrington Jr., 30, 96 Private Drive 10948, Chesapeake, one count each of failure to comply with the order and signal of a police officer and escape.

— Millicant A. Young, 46, Flatwoods, Ky., two counts of possession of drugs and one count each of trafficking in crack cocaine, possession of criminal tools, drug paraphernalia and possession of crack cocaine.

— Matthew A. Corbin, 23, 3662 County Road 19, Kitts Hill, receiving stolen property.

— Eugene Garred, 45, 109 Township Road 1316, South Point, one count each of failure to comply with the order and signal of a police officer, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol (OMVI) and resisting arrest.

— Bobby Dement, 33, 366 Township Road 88, Proctorville, grand theft.

—Michael S. Bamer, 45, 1746 Thomas St., Ironton, one count each of failure to comply with the order and signal of a police officer and OMVI.

Combs, 28, 386 Township Road 88, Proctorville, receiving stolen property.

— Michael G. Johnson, 31, Mt. Sterling, Ky., one count each of felonious assault and misdemeanor theft.

— Billy A. Schafer, 29, Huntington, W.Va., felonious assault.

— Tesa M. Schoolcraft, 29, 415 Mulberry St., Ironton, grand theft.

— Steven T. Callicoat, 33, 15808 State Route 775, Willow Wood, one count each of receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Nancy J. Eldridge, 26, Private Drive 9555, South Point, burglary.

— Jason S. Noble, 37, 1617 County Road 411, Proctorville, one count each of felonious assault and OMVI.

— Craig S. Smith, 38, 123 Township Road 1057, Proctorville, one count each of kidnapping, felonious assault, burglary and menacing by stalking.

— Gary L. Fetty, 28, 104 Garden Lane, South Point, two counts of felonious assault and one count of criminal damaging.

— Lance D. Pauley II, 24, 8486 County Road 1, South Point, resisting arrest.

— Ty B. Mullins, 22, Ashland, Ky., one count each of aggravated possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of crack cocaine.

Additionally, there were three secret indictments.
