CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — Donald F. Kizzee, 77, of Clarksville, died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 19, 1930, in Ironton. He was a loving husband for 56 years. His wife, Barbara A. Kizzee, survives. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Clarksville Rotary Club, and was past president of Clarksville Homebuilders Association. He also worked with Habitat for Humanity and was a Boy Scout leader.
Mr. Kizzee was retired from TVA and was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his father, Sherman Kizzee, and a brother, Lowell Kizzee. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Evelyn Kizzee; a son, Kevin Kizzee (Elizabeth); a daughter, Karen A. Petty (Steven); a sister, Elaine Nunncry; and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Dr. Roger Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of the service Friday.
