WINONA, Texas — Stella Mae Massie, 83, of Winona, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, in Smith County.
She was born July 9, 1925, in Ironton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Robert Duty and Josephine Mayfield Duty. She worked for Henthorns Dry Cleaners in Ohio and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Winona.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Massie; twin daughters and several sisters.
Survivors are a son, William Massie and his wife, Janet, of Winona; a sister, Helen Webb, of Ironton, Ohio; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Graveside services were Monday at the Harris Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Tony Watson officiating.
